Queensland Government and Brisbane State High School In consultation with parents, past students, teachers, current students, stakeholders and the School Executive I was tasked to consolidate, expand and modernise Brisbane State High School marketing and branding strategy to ensure its strong reputation and image as the premier State School in Queensland. The School finds itself in the unique position of competing both for the brightest and best in Queensland with the States Private education system. Ensuring the school continues to grow and compete in this demographic the School recognised the importance of consistency in communication and having a clear message to those who engage with the school. It was decided to create a comprehensive style guide, visual identity and marketing strategy to assist staff and administrators. Key staff were trained to maintaining its integrity by applying it consistently throughout all school communications, including in print, web, display, broadcast and electronic formats.
